Secondly,choose the laser source.90% of our European clients choose IPG laser source.Because it photoelectric conversion rate can reach 45%(other brand is about 25%),so it can save much cost in the long run.But if you need it,we also have Raycus laser source can be choose.

3.Machine model
Thirdly,choose a suitable machine table.1500*3000mm cutting table is our standard model.We have open type(H model,more suitable for ≤3000w) and full enclosed model(G model,more suitable for ≥3000w) can be chose.The configurations of G series is better than H series,also it has full enclosed cover and two exchange tables,so its price is a little expensive than H series.

Yesterday,one of my Czech customer ask about some questions,we would like to share with you:

1.We know some customers are cooperating with CNC or CO2 machine before, but its different. Fiber laser machine is total different machine from CNC machine, they have different techinology. You still trust a company who is professional in CNC machine, not in fiber laser cutting machine? Please really think about it.

2. what would be the difference between raycus and IPG ? IPG is Germany brand, very famous fiber laser source in market, and it’s original imported, so price is a little higher than Raycus. Raycus brand made in China, quality also stability. We think Raycus is more cost-effective than IPG brand. But some customers very like and trust “Germany Brand”, so IPG is optional. The only obvious advantage of IPG is it is more durable than Raycus. For example, if using frequency is same, IPG can be durable for more than 8 years, Raycus can be 7 years.

3. Can we get the servicing of IPG in India? Yes, we you can surely get servicing of IPG in India. Please check attached Statement from IPG. Because, once we sold IPG laser machine to India, we will sign a contract with IPG company, and they will sign on this statement, and you can show it to India IPG, when need service from IPG. So please do not worry about it.

It is very normal for every customer to compare the price and quality of machine from different suppliers.

1.Auxiliary gas

When cutting Carbon steel, auxiliary gas is only O2.
When cutting Stainless steel, auxiliary gas can be N2 or O2 .
If using O2, cutting edge will be oxydized and not smooth and show black color.
If using N2, cutting effect is very good and smooth.

2.What program stands on remote CNC?

Cypcut software is with laser machine.

3.What is included in a machine?

Fiber laser source, Laser machine bed, Water chiller,PC,Laser cutting head .etc.

4.Exhaust fan is included?

No, exhaust fan is 3kw generally, it is OPTIONAL accessory.Price is 700 USD/set
5.on burning with your laser. how much do I need the air pressure?

6.Can we cut aluminum 2mm and steel 2mm with just compressed air?If yes what the pressure we need?

Yes, you can no matter it is 1kw IPG or 1.2kw nLIGHT, it can cut 2mm Al or steel.
It need about 1.3MPa pressure

In fact, in theory, if use compressed air to cut aluminium,
it is better effect than N2 or O2. we suggest you to use compressed air.

7.consumption of gases (nitrogen, oxygen) in liters/hour

This depends on the thickness of the cutting material.
NOTE: For example. In China, one bottle of Liquid Oxygen is 50$/bottle.

Standard oxygen or nitrogen gas bottle is 40L/bottle.
1mm Carbon steel 40L/40minutes
2mm Carbon steel 40L/50minutes
3mm Carbon steel 40L/60minutes
4mm Carbon steel 40L/70minutes
5mm Carbon steel 40L/80minutes
6mm Carbon steel 40L/90minute
For carbon steel,
The thicker metal you cut, the less Oxygen pressure you need,
because if use higher Oxygen pressure for thicker metal sheet, it will be burned.
0.5-0.8mm stainless steel 40L/30minutes
1mm stainless steel 40L/30minutes
2mm stainless steel 40L/30minutes
Generally speaking, the thicker metal sheet,the higher Nitrogen pressure it needs.
For example, if cut 1mm ss, use 10kg Nitrogen.
If cut 4mm ss, need 20kg Nitrogen.
But in order to keep high cutting speed for thin metal sheet , such as 1mm.
So we suggest client to adjust same pressure, all of them are 20kg,
in this way, it not only can make sure high speed when cut thin sheet,
but can make sure cutting thick metal sheet.

8.room size, cleanliness, air conditioning etc.

1)Room size : for 1530 machine, size should be at least 6000*7000mm
2)Room should be clean, no dust
3)Room temperature should with 18—25 degress
4)Standard voltage of laser machine in China : 380v or 3 phase, 50 Hz

9.Water chiller

Water Chiller of Fiber laser cutting machine:
Water cooler inside need to add purified water or distilled water
If the quality of pure water is not particularly good, it is recommended to change the water once every 2 weeks.

Good quality water, once a month for water.

10.Consumables of laser head

Write about each of this items. For what we need each of it?

When speaking of the difference between a laser cutter and a CNC router, the most obvious difference is that the laser cutter uses the laser melting method to cut. And the CNC router uses digital technology to control the cutter or the laser head and ultrasonic head to engrave. The laser cutter may be a CNC router. The CNC router can also be installed with a laser head for cutting, so these two are intersecting. Although both use CNC systems, they work differently and have different mechanical structures. In contrast, the structure of the CNC router is relatively simple. Through the control of the computer numerical control system, the CNC router automatically selects the appropriate cutting tool and engraves on the x, y, and z axes of the machine tool.

According to the specific use situation, the laser cutter is divided into different special machines. The structure of the special machine is roughly the same. The laser source emits laser light. Fiber laser metal cutting machine running cost-Wendy

Now there is many different metal cutting equipment in the market. Fiber laser cutting machine is one of the most advanced solution. It is becoming more and more popular as its excellent cutting effect and low running cost. Compared with tradition cutting equipment, fiber laser cutter should be the most economic machine.

Fiber laser cutting machine may include 3 parts running cost, electric power, auxiliary gas and quick wear parts.

Electric power cost for fiber laser cutting machine

There is three main part need use electric power, laser source, machine bed and water chillier. Follow date based on 1000w fiber laser source.

We know fiber laser source have very high photoelectric conversion, and it is about 25%. So one set 1000w laser source will cost 4kw power per hour. About machine bed, the main electric power cost parts are servo motor, reducer and control system, and  servo motor is main. Now we total use 4 sets servo motor for 1500*3000mm fiber laser cutting machine. Its total power is about 4kw.  Water chiller also have high power cost, for 1000w laser source, the suitable chillier will cost about 3kw per hour. In this case, one set 1000w fiber laser cutter’s total power cost is 11kw.

But actually, one machine’s real cost is only about 60%. As it is not possible if all parts keep running with full power. So one 1000w fiber laser machine only cost about 6.6kw/hour. We get this date from thousands of test. Nearly no any machine can cost less then fiber laser.

Auxiliary gas

Fiber laser cutting need use auxiliary gas. Mild steel need use O2 gas, and other metals main use N2 gas. Also we can use compressed gas when cut thin ss and ms less than 2mm. Auxiliary gas cost have relation with metal thickness, so we can’t list it here, and just some recommend for reference.

According to our experience and customers’ feedback,  liquid nitrogen and  liquid oxygen is better. First, liquid gas is cheaper. Second, each tank have some rest when using. As its pressure become low so that we can’t use it on running. But when we use liquid gas, it is one big tank, no need change tank always. So all gas will be use.

 

Quick wear parts

Fiber laser cutting machine quick wear parts main include protective lens, focus lens, nozzle and ceramic rings. Their lifetime is about 500 hours and Ceramic rings lifetime is about 1 year. Protective lens and nozzle is cheap and about 15~30usd/piece. Ceramic ring not more than 100usd/piece. Focus lens is about 150usd/piece.

Except above cost, fiber laser cutting machine near have no any other running cost. Even its price is very high when we buy, but running cost should be the cheapest.
