1. Fiber laser source

Fiber laser metal sheet cutting machine include 6 parts. Laser source, cutting head, control system, drive motor, transmission system, auxiliary system and machine bed.

Laser source is the heart of the whole machine. The most import part of the machine. More than half the value of the whole machine.

1.1 Brand: IPG, Raycus, Nlight and Max

2. Laser Cutting head

Directly work to the metal sheet, it’s a part we need take care of.

2.1 Brand: Raytools, Precite


Raytools: 500W, 750W mainly use the BT210 type, because the poor heat dissipation is not suitable for thick plate; Above the 1000W, BT240 type is a good choice; Also, there is a Auto-focus type. It depending on customers requirements, but for 3000W, most customer will choose it.

Precite: It’s the Germany brand, so we all know it’s good quality. But we need pay attention to the reliable, some factory use the fake brand to earn the money.

2.2 Single spray and double spray

Usually, when we cut the stainless steel, we will choose the single spray. For carbon steel, double spray is a good choice. The metal sheet thicker, the nozzle is bigger.

3. Control system

It’s the brain of the fiber laser cutting machine.

Brand: Cyput from Shanghai

Analyzation: Most of the Chines factory use this brand. Stable performance, simple operation。

4. Drive motor

There are four motors on fiber laser plate cutting machine. one of them on each X axis and Z axis, other two motors on the Y axis. For plate and tube cutting machine, there are seven motors. one of them on each X axis and Z axis, other two motors on the Y axis. Three more motors on the tube part.

5. Transmission Device

Include Guide rail, gear rack, speed reducer. Transmission device can effect on the precision.

Guide rail brand: HIWIN, PMI, ABBA

Gear rack brand: Taiwan YYC, Taiwan KH, we used diagonal scale, it can have a better precision.

Speed reducer brand: SHIMPO(Japan), Motoreduce(France)

6. Auxiliary system

Include water chiller, Cold and dry machine, Air compressor, Stabilizer, Exhaust fan, Industrial computer.

Water chiller brand: Tongfei(Best quality in China), CW and Dongluyang.

We use the Tongfei brand, Tongfei and Dongluyang mainly for low-power. CW6000 we used in the 300w engraving machine. The role of the chiller is to cool the laser, cutting head and fiber head, the role is particularly important.

Cold and dry machine: remove the air in the water and oil

Air compressor: to provide pressure of the gas

Regulator: remove the power grid interference and fluctuations, to meet the requirements of the power needs

Exhaust fan: to provide compliance, to prevent iron flying

Industrial computer: industrial control computer, Advantech, EVOC are more well-known domestic brands

Dewing is a physical phenomenon.It will appear when the temperature of object surface is lower than its surroundings.

There are a few ways to avoid dewing.

※If the fiber laser cutter generator is installed in an environment without air conditioning,configuring a separate air-conditioned room.

※If the fiber laser cutter generator  install in an environment with air conditioning, keeping refrigeration temperature of the air conditioning is consistent with the cooling water temperature.

※Add an evaporator between the gas source and the processing head, keep the gas temperature close to the ambient temperature.

Although dewing cannot avoid ,we must remind everyone to minimize the temperature difference between the operating environment and the cooling temperature.
