The current is a factor. If the power supply current is too small, it will also affect the depth of the marking words or patterns.  At this time, we should increase the current of the laser power supply and reduce the frequency of the marking machine. So the marking machine can operate normally, and avoid the situation that the marking words are too shallow.

Fiber laser marking machine can adjust the parameters of marking power, marking frequency, marking speed and pulse width according to different materials and different marking depth requirements to achieve a fine marking effect. However, we may encounter various problems in the process of marking with an optical fiber marking machine. If the equipment fails, it is useless to adjust such parameters. The marking effect is still too shallow. What should we do?

First of all, we should check whether the output DC voltage of  machine power supply drops, resulting in a drop in laser output power.

Secondly, check and ensure whether the work piece surface is on the focal plane.

Third, increase the laser power supply current of the laser marking machine and reduce the frequency of the marking machine;

Fourth, reduce the marking speed and change the filling method. And whether the work piece is in focus, readjusting the focus;

Fifth, the light path is deviated. And the light path is readjusted to a better state by using a frequency doubling plate.

If  we cannot solve the problem of too shallow marking in fiber laser marking machine through the above five steps, it is necessary to check whether the lens is dirty. If it is dirty, use a cotton swab to soak in alcohol and gently scrub the end face of YG rod, front mirror, rear mirror, beam expander and focusing mirror.
