Second, for YAG laser cutting machine:It’s widely used when the cutting machine in the early stage. Now it is currently few in the market. Laser generated by xenon tube.
Advantage: High laser intensity, it is common use in cutting plate, has low price. It can cut brass, aluminum and other high reflective materials
Disadvantage: Large power consumption and high consumables. The beam quality is low and the cutting effect is general. It needs regular dimming and maintenance.
Third, for fiber laser cutting machine: it developed very fast in recent years. It is more and more popular in metal processing industry.It is gradually replacing the plasma cutting machine, CO2 laser cutting machine, YAG laser cutting machine, and shearing machine and so on.
Advantage: low power consumption, no gas consumption, adjustment-free, maintenance-free, high stability, good output beam quality, faster cutting speed. Also no maintenance on the external optical path, good consistency of the whole workpiece cutting, very less consumables , small size, light weight, movable working position, small footprint, long service life.
Disadvantage:It’s speed is slow when cutting thick metal plate. And it can not long time cut brass, copper, aluminum and other high-reflective materials.
